Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible. Our classes meet weekly during the school year. Each class participant receives a course book with a commentary and home study questions. Each week, you’ll participate in a small group discussion followed by a large group teaching. From time to time, fellowship meals will provide special times of sharing and relationship building within the class.

2025 marks CBS’s 50th anniversary! To celebrate this significant milestone, all North American classes and many classes around the world will be studying a brand new Psalms course during the 2025-2026 classyear. The book of Psalms has served as the hymnbook and prayerbook of God’s people from ancient times and on into the present. Known as the Psalter, this collection of Holy Spirit-inspired poetry captures the highs and lows of life. The Psalms are powerful prayers, guiding us into honest communication with God. They validate our doubts, passions, fears, and longings and show us how to draw near to God in our struggles. This Bible study organizes the Psalms thematically, making it easier to grasp their main ideas and apply them to your own conversations with God

Matthew wrote by the power of the Holy Spirit, primarily to his fellow Jews, proving through Scripture that Jesus's life and ministry fulfilled the Old Testament prophesies concerning the Messiah. In studying this Gospel, you can clearly hear Matthew's message: Jesus is indeed the long-awaited Jewish Messiah, the King of kings and Lord of lords, Immanuel, God with us!
